From winning a first-grade award for most books read to constructing plans of writing my own novel, I have always been obsessed with the written word and the power it has to transport me to a different time and place for as long as my imagination, or my mom, would allow me to remain immersed. Reading was, and is my escape – a learning platform that shaped my vocabulary and writing skills while it inspired my desire to visit the destinations outlined in those pages.

Thus began my passion for travel and living abroad. What began as words on paper has become several years of travel to more than 20 countries across four continents with tales of the incredible people and cultures that finally existed outside my mind. Reading was the start, but it wasn’t enough. I like to experience things first-hand.

Whether I’m reading about my clients’ industries in trade publications or traveling with them to tradeshows to meet their customers, there’s no better way for me to learn and understand their industry, business, key publics, challenges and opportunities than to share experiences with them in person.
