I initially went off to college thinking that my calling was newspaper reporting. Ah, nothing like the thought of hunting down the story, burning the midnight oil, stopping the presses. It all sounded good, but the more I became entrenched in that industry, I came to the realization that I need to be a champion for something or someone. Writing in the “Just the Facts Ma’am” style definitely wasn’t for me.
 

What role calls for a big supporter/enthusiast/cheerleader? A public relations professional, or course. I don’t know if it’s the thrill of the hunt or the sense of accomplishment, but on a professional level, nothing pleases me more than getting great media coverage for my clients.
