About Jessica
I’ve always been a very curious (and competitive) person, a dangerous mix. You know the girl who thinks she can outrun the boys, read the most books and be awake for the most hours in each day – that’s me. I’ve always liked to know why things are the way they are, and where to find the next limit science and technology can push through. Strangely enough, I’ve always been very open to the possibility of aliens and secret galaxies. Being a little out there has allowed me to develop a couple unique characteristics that with age I have grown to appreciate: being an open listener and critical thinker.

When it came time to choose a career path I found myself wanting to do everything – doctor, teacher, astronaut, food critic, agency public relations seemed perfect. With clients in multiple industries, I learn more about healthcare, floral accessories or adhesives than I ever realized. And as an open listener thinking critically, strategies and the big picture unfold limitlessly.

While many PR professionals love to talk, I love to listen. Through listening to my clients and colleagues I am able to learn and analyze communications strategies that will prove most effective. This method matches what I have found at AKHIA. It is a firm that truly listens to its clients, as they are the experts in their given fields. It is also a place where walking to a different beat is practically a requirement – proving anything is possible.
