What does it mean to “drive business?”
To be a good marketer, you must seek out the business objective behind every marketing tactic and align on what success looks like. Too often marketers get caught up chasing the latest trend and lose sight over how our efforts need to support the larger business goals.
What did you want to be when you grew up?
I always wanted to be a lawyer or a politician. In fact, I studied Political Science/Pre-Law. Beyond learning all about our laws, I studied people, how they make decisions, how to connect with them and how to influence change. This has helped me tremendously as a marketer.
