The committee of one has decided there's no time for that. This is how CEO's will have to lead. The next supply chain shock probably will not arrive with enough warning to form a committee.
That is why geoeconomic resilience has to move from managed risk report to managed discipline. The linked article (from Chief Executive) puts the test simply: can a CEO name the single supplier, shipping lane or jurisdiction whose loss would severely disrupt the company’s largest revenue line tomorrow? If not, the company may have awareness without readiness.
For manufacturers, this is where communications, operations, legal and government affairs need to be connected before the disruption hits. Tariffs, sanctions, export controls and chokepoint closures are now business conditions.
